What do you think of libraries? What would make you want to come to the library (or, what do you wish libraries did or have)?

I like libraries because they have a huge source of books. But I dont really like the fact that there's not a lot of privacy; it's kind of awkward and I like to read or study by myself. But the fact that they're quiet is cool, because it helps me stay focused. I think libraries pretty much have what they should have; there's nothing that I can really think of that would make me want to go to a library more.

  1. Consider going into one of the study rooms-- even though people can still see you and may still want to join you, they offer a bit more privacy than sitting out in the open. Even as an employee of the library here, I still sometimes go into a study room when I need do some serious focusing on a project. The Health Sciences Library has laptops that our students may check out for a few hours of in-library use if you need a computer while you're in a study room. Just stop by the front desk and ask!
